AC Shadows Reveals Unexpected AoT Collaboration for Thanksgiving
In a surprising collaboration that defies traditional predictions, Ubisoft has unveiled an digital collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Questline Revealed
According to the official statement, "A strange encounter pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where whispers of banned practices and fearsome transformations reverberate through the obscurity." The storyline features a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who charges the characters with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a secret group.
The adventure focuses on "peculiar tests and a monstrous adversary" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Metamorphoses
The trailer showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This important location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer concludes with a striking moment showing a character, probably the captive, transforming into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Items and Bonus Features
Players who accomplish the adventure will receive an special katana together with multiple items hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

Third Free Story Addition
